Today we bring you an interview with Kurt Braunohler; a comedian perhaps best known (for now, at least) for his work with Kristen Schaal. Their collaborative work produced the brilliant online web series; Penelope: Princess of Pets (which Channel 4 later commissioned a pilot for and foolishly didn’t pick it up for a full series), in addition to being nominated for a highly regarded if.comedy award (*formerly the Perrier Award, and currently the Edinburgh Comedy Award*) when they took their live show: Kristen Schaal And Kurt Braunohler: Double Down Hearts, to the Edinburgh Fringe. Here we discuss how Braunohler and Schaal met, as well as finding out what Kurt has been up to since they both started concentrating on ventures that didn’t involve each other.
Stupid Woman and her bad pizza “joke”
dear female with the blocked number that called the pizza place 3 times, and had food sent to my house last night: i wanna explain a few things:
1. you not only wasted the pizza places time, but 2 large sausage pizzas and 24 wings got thrown out cause i refused them, and you fucked with there money, they lost a $60 sale not me.
2. you also wasted the delivery guys time, and forced him to waste gas driving around, and he lost a tip, when he could have been delivering real food and earning tip money.
3. i never ordered food with my cellphone number, my house number is on file, and it took you 3 phone calls to finally get the “prank” to work, cause you didn’t know my address to begin with, at least know how to fuck with someone correctly you half ass ammuture, you couldn’t even pull off a classic “prank” with out fucking it up.
4. your some dumb woman with just my cell number, not my house and address, and if your doing this we obviously dont like each other, so that narrows down who you are.
5. EVERYONE LOST BUT ME, the pizza place lost, the delivery guy lost, and YOU lost, 1. cause you’re retarded and dont care about the innocent pizza dudes YOU fucked with and 2. now i get to make fun of you on the internet, which is what i do all day long anyway, so thanks for the freebie.
the only inconvenice i suffered was walking to my kitchen door and having a conversation then closing it and going back to my life. so next time if your only goal is to make me walk across my house, at least throw a brick through my window and give me a real reason to take 50 paces.
